QUESTION: Hi Sylvia. I know you are an expert in horsemanship/training and some of my questions may not center around that...But I will ask anyway. When it comes to a horse's vision, is it as sharp as human vision in the daytime? I have always thought their vision was a little fuzzy in the daylight compared to ours. I know their vision is good at night, much better than ours, or that's my understanding. I know when they see things they see it in a different way. Most of the time the horses that I deal with come to me by sight. So I am wondering am I fuzzy to them in the daylight? And do they really recognize me vs. someone else? It appears from dealing with them they know who their owner is. Back to Horse Problems Q&A, Click Here:
