We have three horses, all with very individual issues. Two of the horses, Buck and Rho, had numerous irrational fears due to prior abuse. We also had been looking for a better way to work with our two-year-old Morgan/Tennessee Walker colt, Seres. We had the colt since birth and have handled him using various methods learned from reading and videos, but we needed further help. After surfing the internet I found Sylvia's site. After months of helping us remotely, Sylvia agreed to come out to our place in Texas to teach us Natural Horsemanship and to work with all of our horses firsthand to help us make them calmer, happier horses using Natural Horsemanship Training techniques. Sylvia was able to walk our issue horses gently through the tough emotional ride as they faced all their fears to find a better, more confident life spot. Those horses are now better for the experience!! Sylvia also helped us to start our colt, Seres, in saddle safely and without stress to the horse, and she taught us further skills to continue this training ourselves.

Being taught is always much better than just having something done for you. That indeed is what Sylvia's method is about. Her emphasis is on not simply fixing a horse's problems herself, but strongly on training the owners, not just the horse, so that we gain the same skills and knowledge quickly. We are now feeling much more confident in our own abilities thanks to Sylvia. Seres is now well on his way to being ridden and is enjoying it!
