Sylvia Scott, A Life Saver!

 

Sylvia Scott is truly a life safer. Less than one month ago, I purchased a Premarin (PMU) Belgian Foal. Having raised and trained other horses before, I thought I would have no problem with the foal. The foal was delivered to us, but she was so wild, she would not allow us to get near her at all. Coming from living virtually in the wild in a 500 acre pasture, this was apparently the first human contact that she ever had experienced, except for being delivered from South Dakota. I tried to work with her and get near her, but nothing doing; she was just too wild and wanted nothing to do with me or anyone else. It was then that I thought maybe I possibly had made a serious mistake taking on the task of adopting a premarin foal. I was so depressed. My family and I had anxiously anticipated the arrival of our new foal, and now we were all letdown tremendously, because she was just so wild. We knew that going in, but we just didn't think it would be that difficult at first.

 

I searched the internet and found Sylvia Scott's web site. I contacted Sylvia and she immediately set up our first training session that weekend. Sylvia came out to work with our wild PMU foal, Annabelle, and after only one session, Annabelle willingly joined up with Sylvia and allowed Sylvia to stroke her all over, and she was very receptive to the bonding and pressure and release techniques that Sylvia applied. After that first training session, our foal was not wild or scared of humans anymore at all! I was so happy when, at Sylvia's encouragment, I stepped in at the end of that session, and was able to finally love all over our new baby just like I had been dreaming!

 

Sylvia was so helpful in showing me the natural horsemanship techniques that are so successful. Now, after only two training sessions with Sylvia, Annabelle has made such a huge turnaround. I am able to touch her all over, get her to lift her feet easily, & respond to all pressure and release techniques. She even leads and backs up nicely on cue, which Sylvia taught her. I try to work with Annabelle an hour or so each day now using the NH techniques that Sylvia has taught me, and the results are simply astounding. My Annabelle is on her way to being a wonderful Gentle Giant that I was hoping for in my new Belgian. Sylvia let us know we actually picked a great horse with a bright mind and actually quite a gentle nature. I was taking some pictures a few days ago while working with Annabelle, and she was so relaxed, Annabelle decided to lie down right next to us and take a load off!

Annabelle is also wonderful now with everyone in our family, such as my husband and my nine-year-old daughter and ten-year-old son. They all love her as much as I do!

I highly recommend Sylvia Scott's training services and I also now recommend to everyone interested, to purchase or adopt a PMU foal. With proper NH training, they very quickly make a wonderful addition to anyone's family!
