Sylvia Scott really
has a gift. Some of the great trainers are
amazing with the animals, but then can be kind
of harsh (unintentionally, of course) or come
across in a way that makes the student feel
dumb or embarassed. Some have great people skills,
but aren't as effective with our four-legged
friends! SYLVIA, though, excels in both areas
and always makes me and my horse, Sampson, feel
comfortable at all times. When I mess up or
don't do something right, Sylvia offers
constructive guidance kindly, without ever hurting
my feelings. I, probably like many people, tend
to take criticism personally, and get my
feelings hurt easily, especially when it comes
to something I want SOOOOO badly (having a good,
meaningful, and safe relationship with my horse!).
If a flood of well-meaning advice all comes
flying in my face at once from many directions,
it tends to feel like an attack, and I will
feel overwhelmed and upset. Sylvia has
a way of "never going there," yet
Sampson and I learning and progressing happily.
I highly recommend Sylvia Scott and her
training services!
