What a Master Sylvia Scott is With Horses!

 

I am writing this to let you know what a master Sylvia Scott is with horses and with her Natural Horsemanship training techniques.

 

When I purchased Fancy, a 3½-yr.-old Arabian, she was a very sweet horse. Within two weeks of my ownership of Fancy, however, to get her started in her training, I sent her to a "trainer" who unfortunately severely abused Fancy physically and mentally; not only that, but that trainer had given up on Fancy and had dubbed her "untrainable." When I brought Fancy back home, she no longer had the sweet personality that I remembered when I first bought her; she had turned against human touch due to her fear of them, and even had moments I considered a very "dangerous horse." I had talked with several people and trainers to see if someone could recommend another trainer to bring Fancy out of the bad shape she was in. They all gave me the same answer: "Find a Natural Horsemanship Trainer," so I searched the internet and found Sylvia Scott. Sylvia responded to my e-mail instantly and was at my home the same week. After only one session working with Fancy, Sylvia had Fancy accepting human touch again happily, and by the second session, Fancy was trusting humans completely again without fear. I cannot easily write in words all that Sylvia has done for me and my horse Fancy, with the constant supporting e-mails for me, and the work she has done with my Arabian.

 

Sylvia suggested that we put Fancy in a clinic that she was having in Blacksburg, VA. Fancy and I both learned so much there with Sylvia by Fancy's side, nurturing her through the seminar, Fancy came a long way. Fancy is now well on her way to being ridden and the horse I trust as well as her trust in me.

 

I know that Sylvia is always the first to say, "it's not about me; it's all about Natural Horsemanship," but she has a natural ability with horses and it comes from her heart! That combined with NH makes a master!
