I
Am So Glad That I Have Connected Up With You, Sylvia, And Your Natural Horsemanship Training
Techniques!
I grew
up on my father's ranch near Las Vegas, New Mexico,
with working horses, as you would find on any ranch.
As we were growing up, we even competed in
rodeo's. I did a lot of showing horses in other
areas, as well. I grew up on the working ranch and
even worked on other ranches as a teenager to help
buy my boots, spurs, ropes, hats and other cowboy
gear. After being bucked off horses, I thought I
was a good cowboy and entered in the rodeos. My
favorite event was saddle bronc riding. I also rode
some bulls and bare back riding. It took me several
broken bones and numeous trips to the hospital and
a lot of years to learn how stupid I was. I started
a lot of young horses. We called it "breaking
them." I always knew there was a better way
to train horses. Even today at 58 years of age,
I still love horses and today, I enjoy training
horses, not breaking them.
I
am so glad that I have connected up with you, Sylvia,
and your natural horsemanship training
techniques. Your style proves what it took me 58
years to learn, but with your professional instruction, it's great
to know that there are others who "gentle horses,"
not break them. Today there are so many so-called
cowboys or buckaroos who think they know everything
there is to know about horses, but in fact are not
willing to learn the right way. With you guys out
there using these methods, it makes it
exciting and has rekindled a spark in me to start
training horses again on a full time scale.
Thank you for everything you all do!
