I Am Now Riding Whitey and Feel Safe Because of What Sylvia Scott Has Taught Both of Us! Sylvia is not a "know-it-all." And in my book, that is hard to find. She is very patient. Sylvia really wants people to have a relationship with their horses, and the transformation of my horse, Whitey, was phenomenal. Whitey is a retired race horse and was brought down here to Virginia in the dead of winter from Pennsylvania (sight unseen). Sylvia came out that freezing night to meet him with me, and in short order she got him to show how sweet he was underneath the racehorse layers. If he were a dog or cat, I am sure that Whitey would just crawl up in my lap now! That is how much we are now bonded to each other after Sylvia retrained him and got us working together in harmony. Not only did Sylvia get Whitey retrained, but she also helped me to learn as well, and to feel at ease with him overall. In my 42 years of life, I had only seen horses on TV, so just sitting on Whitey confidently was a major accomplishment for me! I am now riding Whitey and feel safe because of what Sylvia Scott has taught both of us!
