Michael Ketner

Michael Ketner - www.buckarooequineservices.com
Michael's program, Practical Horsemanship is titled appropriately, as he states "being practical in your level of ability will provide any horse owner with a more honest result than attempting to jump right into more advanced disciplines or activities." Michael knows horses and has taught folks horsemanship from all over the world. From his career as a working cowboy he honed his talents from many of the old master horsemen who were a part of his early childhood. He has worked with literally thousands of guests in the guest ranch industry where he taught folks who have never seen a horse before in person, to become proficient enough to follow him on trail rides in the mountainous regions of the western states. Michael was born into the cowboy way of life and remains committed to the traditional horsemanship of that lifestyle. He accepts a limited number of horses each year for development & training by private treaty on his ranch in Green Sea, South Carolina. He is involved with Purina Mills, conducting horsemanship workshops throughout the southeast regularly and is sponsored by Rio Vista equine products. Michael's other programs & services: Practical Horsemanship instruction program; The Distant Horse program for abused and neglected horses; Behavioral Correction program; Balanced Enhanced Systems Riding program; Horsemanship & Training advisor to South Carolina Awareness and Rescue for Equines; Author, "Gulliver's Tales of Whoa" in each issue of Horse South magazine; Training Advisory Board member, Horse South magazine; Working Ranch Cowboy's Association member.

  James Cooler

James Cooler - www.coolerhorsemanship.com
The heart of Cooler Horsemanship centers on learning to obtain as well as maintain a relationship of willing cooperation with our horse, no matter what equine discipline we choose. The basis of Cooler Horsemanship begins with realizing that horses have their own ways of communicating. By studying and understanding this equine language, we learn to approach the horse on his level. The principles and philosophies of Cooler Horsemanship are designed to help us build our ability to interact with our horse, teaching us the knowledge and skills needed to build a relationship of willing communication.
