- Don Knapp
- http://donknappsavvy.com/
- 3 Star Parelli Instructor.
My name is Don Knapp and I have been around
horses all of my life. I was raised on a ranch
in Alberta, Canada and started rodeoing as a
teenager. In 1985, I became a farrier and was
training horses when I realized that it wasn't
so much about training horses as it is about
training people. In that same year, I had an
opportunity to ride with Pat Parelli and became
interested in his techniques. In 1989, I read
an article about Pat Parelli and after reading
his book "Natural Horsemanship", I
knew I was on to something that brought about
miraculous results. In 1996 I moved to Colorado
and spent the next three years studying Pat's
system and became a certified Parelli Instructor
in the fall of that same year. Later, in 1997,
I also became a Young Horse Specialist. I have
been on numerous tours with Pat and Linda and
have instructed throughout North America and
in Scotland. Today, I am a Three Star Instructor
and I live in Sulphur, Oklahoma.

- Patrick Hooks - http://www.hookshorseranch.com/
- Patrick's common sense approach to horse training comes through the legacy of the Dorrance's and Ed Connell. Patrick gave his first public colt-breaking clinic in 1989. To date, he has given numerous clinics at national horse expositions, private ranches, colleges, universities and worked as an instructor at OPSU. He is blessed to draw from his experiences working on mama cow operations in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Oklahoma. His experience includes riding pens, caring and doctoring for cattle in feed lots, sale barns, wheat pasture and, Lord bless, first time heifers. In addition, Patrick has worked as a hunting guide, wrangler and is an accomplished farrier.
