- Mike Sikorski & Bernie
Wilimitis - www.horsehelpersandconsultants.com
- Horse Helpers & Consultants,
(HHC), was founded at the beginning of 2004
when the owners, Bernie and Mike, decided to
merge their individual existing horse businesses
together with the intent of offering horse owners
help with understanding, building a communication
channel, and establishing a bonding relationship
with their horses. They also wanted to provide
prospective buyers with sound horses, mind and
body, that they started and developed to be
accepting and willing of the horse/human relationship,
laying a foundation for the new owner to advance
to their goal quicker. All HHC training methods
are based on Natural Horsemanship theories.
Components from multiple Master Horsemen that
Mike and Bernie have studied, are incorporated
into each custom program designed to meet the
needs of the horse and the goals of the owner.
HHC believes that learning about horses is a
journey, not a destination, so Mike and Bernie
are continuously studying literature, attending
clinics, classes, seminars, and most importantly,
listening to and learning from the horse itself.
They have studied Dorrance, Hunt, Brannaman,
Parelli, Giacomini, Lyons, Anderson, Roberts,
Shrake, Dr. Miller, Reiss, Palm, and Wells.
In addition they have studied higher level performance
with Craig Johnson and Leon Harrell. Mike and
Bernie are always “sharpening the saw” and desire
to study them all more in depth and to add to
the list. From their continual learning and
improving of their skills, Mike and Bernie can
pass on more comprehensive help from foal to
foundation and from beginner to advanced.
