- Rufus Archer is a retired
Law Enforcement Official who is pursuing his
natural given talent to work with horses and
people. Archer is an educator, trainer, instructor,
and clinician on a national level. He is the
founder of "Pro-Active Horsemanship:
getting your horse to do what you want him to
do becasue he wants to do it." He is
the founder and President of Trinity Equestrians
United, a non-profit organization established
to give back to the community by working with
underpriviledged and handicapped children. He
is also the owner of Archer's Equestrian Center,
located in Clinton, Maryland where Hunt Seat
Equitation and Western riding are taught. Rufus
is a graduate of Richard Shrake's Resistance
Free Apprenticeship Program as an accredited
trainer and instructor. Archer has also studied
under Chris Cox, world renowned horseman, trainer,
and competitor in the cutting horse arena.
