Hi Sylvia. I have been given the care of two older horses not ridden and have been so afraid and judging myself for it - until I read a question/answer [on your web site] where you explained that it is due to my trying to keep myself safe - now I understand. In fact I cried when I read it; I have been so worried I almost said to my landlady (their owner) that I wasn't fit for this job - this would have been very difficult as I have my house in exchange for their care. I love them so much it would break my heart to give their care over to another, but have dreaded vets visits, farrier visits, moving them from field to field - also there are two horses and only me and this has caused me more worry!

Hi Sylvia! I just came across your site for the first time and am so thrilled by the discovery -- what a wealth of valuable information! Thank you for managing and making available such a great resource. I've been poring over your articles and demonstrations for the past half hour and could easily pass the whole evening doing this. I also saw that you have not only a NH-trainer resource, but a page listing equine bodyworkers, too. I am one of those lucky folks who makes a living working as an equine massage therapist (I live and work in Colorado), and would be honored to be considered for inclusion on that page!
