LETTER OF THE MONTH:

May 2005

Hi Sylvia! I just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed your clinic last week. We are considering a requirement that our adopters learn at least the first 3 steps you teach, prior to adopting one of our horses. We think this will improve the quality of their lives. Then, if the adopters wish to learn more, we can send them to you. We were very impressed with your gentle approach and have strongly recommended this clinic to others in the rescue. I hope things are going well. We were tired after just two days as auditors at the clinic, and we weren't even doing anything - though we were getting up early and going to bed late to take care of the horses. I can't even imagine how exhausting these clinics must be for you!

PS: I started my spooky little Mtn Horse on the one-rein stop. He curled in like a puppy and just stayed there. I forget how cuddly he is. Please let us know when your new facility is ready. We'd love to bring some guys down, especially these two year-olds. Take care.

Hello Sylvia. Firstly, I want to thank you very much for sharing your vast experience and “know-how” with the rest of the world. Your website is really the most informative and comprehensive site on Natural Horsemanship. It is great of you to provide all of this information free on your website – previously, this kind of in-depth information about NH was unobtainable for most of us. Thank you very much for your time and attention!

You're such an intelligent gal to talk to, Sylvia. I sure wish I get to meet you one of these days. Let me know when you're in California, esp Bay Area ok? I'll buy you lunch or dinner, that's a promise. How does it feel to realize your dream? You're one of the few privileged people in this world to actually get to follow their dream and get paid for it also! Now that's talent and ability combined into one. You don't even need to join "American Idol" to embarass yourself. I really appreciate your re-assurring words that you'll always be there as a resource. You sure have a way of making people around you feel warm, even for us who haven't even met you yet.

LETTER OF THE MONTH:

May 2005

Sylvia, Because of your website, I attended this past weekend the clinic in Locust Dale... funny thing was I live only 10 minutes from where the other clinic was held at the Morgan farm two weekends ago. It was fantastic - both on a horse level and personal level! Anyway I am grateful to you for all your "free" advice and information that you have on your website - I have often gotten good tips from you. Thanks again for providing it all. I am in Blacksburg a couple of times a year so I hope to stop by when your new center is up and running and attend some of your trainings.
