Hi Sylvia. Recently I purchased your Whispering Way™ 12-Step Total Training System. I have been working with my 6-year-old green broke mare with great results! She is really responding to the Whispering Way!

Hi Sylvia. I would like to say that I have gained much insight from reading through your web site. I’ve been so impressed with your techniques and willingness to share your knowledge that I have purchased your training wand, 6 foot training string and your Round Pen Leadership DVD. I just received them today and can’t wait to try out your round pen techniques on my horse!

K. C. - Apopka, Florida

LETTER OF THE MONTH:

March 2008

Hi Sylvia. I just thought I would email you to say thank you for your horse training tips! Since I got my thoroughbred mare about 6 weeks ago, she was never shod on her back feet and wouldn't lift them without trying to kick your head off. She did have a problem with her pelvis, hence why she never wanted to lift them. After my chiropractitioner put this right, I've then had to retrain her not to still kick out at me. I worked with her slowly for the past week using the techniques you put me on to (Foot Handling Problems), with a lot of the people at my yard thinking I'm mad and that I ought to just give my horse a good whack, but I've persevered and she is brilliant now! I barely have to touch her now, I just say "up" and she lifts her legs and doesn't kick out, just lets me hold her foot to do whatever I want. I can't believe it! So a big thank you!

R. S. - United Kingdom

I have just adopted an 8-month-old wild mustang filly. I used your training in the round pen. She is already following me and is doing great! Thank you so much for the information!

LETTER OF THE MONTH:

March 2008

Just thought I'd share this with you. We have a 7-year-old formerly spooky Arab. We have completed your Whispering Way™ 12-Step Total Training System program and he is doing very well. Today, while turning him out in the geldings' field, a plastic bag came rolling and leaping across the entry paddock. Our boy stopped, looked at it, watched it roll on by, and he kept walking calmly. Meanwhile, there were 7 other geldings on the other side of the gate. The biggest and badest of the bunch saw the same bag, totally freaked, jumped up in the air, spun around, and caused all the others to get upset. Our boy calmly went about his business. I was watching this from the van as my 14-year-old daughter lead him to turn out. I was holding my breath when I saw the bag coming. Our horse knew what it was because we had desensitized him (via your program) a few months earlier.

Thanks for the great program you have developed, and the Q & A section of your web site!

Best Regards,

D. & M. C. - Virginia Beach, Virginia

LETTER OF THE MONTH:

March 2008

Hi. After 40 plus years of experience training dressage horses, I took a break of 5 years when I moved to England. Now I am getting an x racer, and was just looking for some tips to refresh my memory. What a wonderful web site you have! I learned something reading it, and man, that is so refreshing. Many sites are same old same old...but yours, while selling your tapes I grant you, seems to be here to really help people and horses. My admiration!!!! Always,

S. B-N. - St. Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, England

LETTER OF THE MONTH:

March 2008

Hi Sylvia. I have had mustangs for the last 19 years. My oldest is 24 now. My husband and I work with the BLM at adoptions, and do compliance checks for them, and we also sometimes get called by them if horses are in trouble. Well, we just got 2 fillies that were abandoned by their owners at the boarding facility, and were stuck in stalls for 5 months. No board fencing on the property. Anyway, they both have different issues, and one in particular had real respect issues. I have a guide I wrote that I give out free at all the adoptions, but it is more for working with horses that haven't been handled yet. I had never really been a real fan of round penning, and I don't even mention it in my guide, since too many people do it incorrectly, and just run the horses around. Since I myself didn't even have a round pen until just this year, I never used it either. Well, now I have these horses, and saw a real need to use my new round pen for the first time, so I went on-line and did some research, and I found you. I want to commend you whole heartedly, for such an excellent web site. It was extremely helpful, and I can tell you that I now have 2 much happier horses for it. I have been going through your web site as well, and you have so much information. I can't wait until I have more time to keep reading through it all. And what a great family, horses and humans. Again, thanks so much for your help.

Sincerely,

R. R. - New Jersey
