- Jerry Munns - www.dragonhorses.com
- Clinics, private lessons,
colt breaking, problem solving, demos. In 1995
I met Ray Hunt. That was another day that changed
my life. I heard his philosophy on the horse
and a light bulb suddenly went off in my head.
How could I have been so wrong about the way
I was handling my horses? They did not know
how to lead, load, stand still, backup, or do
almost anything else very well. I thought they
did, but they did not. They were not safe. I
had to change me, not them. When I changed,
my horses changed. I have ridden with Ray in
many clinics across the Midwest and the East
Coast, and have also ridden with other very good
clinicians like Buck Brannaman,Bryan Nuebert,
Craig Cameron, and Major Anders Lindgren from
Sweden. I had my first clinic in 1997 and have
been doing my own clinics and taking in colts
and problem horses ever since.

- Denny Taylor - www.dthorsealliance.com
- Denny's straightforward training methods present a series of exercises that builds a solid foundation under every horse and rider. His philosophy has always incorporated "natural horsemanship" methods reflecting his love for the horse resulting in a mutual bond of respect and trust with each animal. Denny works closely with the owner/rider in every aspect of the training. It is not important what a trainer can get your horse to do if you cannot get the same results. Denny's goal is to prepare each horse and rider with a solid foundation of ground principles and mounted skills for a long and enjoyable relationship. Denny's personal training philosophy and mission involves “Building the Bond Between Horse and Rider.”

- Ed Chambers
- www.turningpointequinecenter.com
- I have found that working
and training from the horse’s side of the saddle
is the best way to begin a satisfying bond.
Is there a connection or partnership lacking
in your relationship with your horse? Are you
new to the horse world, or do you consider yourself
a more experienced horseman in search of a new
direction? Consider taking a fresh look at your
methods of training and horsemanship and it
might become a turning point for you too, or
more importantly -- for your horse. I truly
believe that by pushing a horse too fast or
too hard, a person misses the pleasure and satisfaction
of the journey that they began in the first
place. Open your mind and be honest with yourself;
only then can you become receptive to building
a foundation between yourself and your horse.
Here at Turning Point, our methods of training
and our various clinics, (from basic colt starting
through groundwork, horsemanship, and cow working),
are designed to help you find and develop that
certain “feel.” Your horse will recognize that
feel ... and he’s waiting. Make your journey
a joy --- one that’s worth the trip!
