- Gigi Iacovelli started her Parelli Horse-Man-Ship journey in 2002 when she bought the Level 1 pack to try and get her "nippy" Thoroughbred gelding to stop biting. That was all she wanted...to stop the biting. She was Eventing and Fox Hunting and had no need for natural horsemanship. Wow, did that decision change her life. She is now certified through Level Three as a student and is a Licensed Parelli Two-Star Junior Instructor. She has been around horses for more than 30 years, competing in hunter jumpers, dressage and horse trials. She has rescued and rehabilitated dozens of thoroughbreds from local tracks. Prior to her career as a Parelli instructor, she was a professional trainer and course designer in the financial industry working for Reuters; she also held various roles at the Chicago Board of Trade. She holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Illinois in Champaign Urbana. She currently resides in Barrington Hills, Illinois with her husband, four dogs and five horses.
