    The Horsemen (1971)

    At the foot of the Afghan mountains, young Uraz (Omar Sharif) attempts to live up to the standards of his macho father (Jack Palance) by engaging in a violent tournament Bozkeshi--a sport where players on horses attempt to move the carcass of a sheep into a circle. An accident cost Uraz his leg, which leads him on a journey of self-discovery. Dalton Trumbo's script is a unique mixture of action, adventure, and drama. Claude Renoir shot the film in the mountains of Afghanistan and Spain.

    It Ain't Hay (1943)

    Wilbur Hoolihan is a taxi driver and Grover Mockridge is his pal. Wilbur inadvertently kills a horse and takes it upon himself to replace it. So the boys end up borrowing (stealing) a famous racehorse to be the replacement. A reward is placed on finding the horse which causes local shysters to look for the horse. Wilbur ends up being a jockey in a horse race to try to win prize money to replace the original horse.

    King of the Stallions (1999)

    A renegade horse leads a group of horses away from the main herd. The white men accuse the Indians of stealing the horses, but the Indians know better. They know the black stallion is the leader of the horses and to control him is to control the herd. Nobody is successful in taming the wild beast until two banished Indians come along. Together they win over the respect of the black stallion, their tribe, and get to the bottom of a horse theft scheme.
