 Lucinda McAlpine

Lucinda McAlpine - www.lucindamcalpine.com
Lucinda uses various techniques to work with both the physical and the mental/emotional problems with an aim to finding the best that the horse can be. The work is both from the ground and also ridden, as necessary, and she works from an intuitive standpoint using her bond with that horse to dictate the course of the session. The ridden work aims to build the athletic ability of the horse to carry the rider in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, the work free enables the horse to find his full movement potential for himself and to recognise and loosen any tightness that is limiting that ability.

 Dan Brown

Dan Brown - www.qssouthwest.co.uk
Dan Brown is a member of the Quantum Savvy instructor team. Quantum Savvy South West UK offers natural horsemanship coaching, training and support across the South West as well as the rest of the UK. Quantum Savvy's unique release-focused training system is revolutionary in the horesmanship world. Dan began riding at aged 14, and after teaching as a conventional riding instructor, was attracted to natural horsemanship by a desire to understand and feel for the horse as a willing partner. He discovered Quantum Savvy and immediately enrolled in their home study programme. He also applied to study in Australia as a working pupil, and was accepted for an eleven week placement. Whilst there, he studied firsthand with Shane, Meredith and other Quantum Savvy Professionals and achieved his Level 2 in the programme. On returning to the UK, Dan set up the first UK agency, and began supporting students on study plans and through a range of events, whilst studying for his own level 3. Dan returned to Australia for two months of intensive study at the QSSC, during which time he graduated as an Entry Level Instructor. Dan is able to provide a greater range of services to students , while he works hard to achieve status as a fully endorsed instructor. A dedicated student, Dan is excited to be able to pass on what he has learnt, and help others achieve their goals with horses! He teaches regularly throughout Devon and Cornwall, and is keen to develop other professionals throughout the UK.

Penny Hill

Penny Hill - www.caringhorsemanship.co.uk
Caring Horsemanship isn't new, it’s a phrase to sum up a unique connection and partnership through feel which leads into other parts of your life, not just when you’re with your horse. It teaches you patience, a listening quality, timing and balance, again not only on your horse and of course out of that comes leadership, confidence and maybe life changing experiences. Things that irritate you become insignificant. Horses can take you to places that you have never been before.

 Joanne Forster

Joanne Forster - www.simplyhorsemanship.co.uk
When people refer to Natural Horsemanship or Horse Whispering, they refer to the relationship that can be created between man and horse based upon an understanding of trust, respect and leadership. Allowing the horse the time to think will grow his confidence and trust no matter what you ask him or her to jump or cross. Training takes time and patience, not force and intimidation.

Kate Prowse - www.kateprowse.co.uk
Nature has designed the horse and the human at opposite ends of the prey animal - predator spectrum. Both species have opposing ways of viewing the world and very different motivational stimuli. By learning about horse behaviour and understanding why humans act the way we do, you can unlock the heart of a horse so that he will give you his all, willingly. Build a lasting relationship with your horse, based on trust and acceptance. Overcome problems like bracing, pulling away, shying, napping, bucking. Develop a harmony with your horse on the ground and in the saddle.

Lyla Cansfield

Lyla Cansfield - www.playlikeahorse.com
Take the mystery out of horse whispering and learn to play like a horse! My goal is to empower people to live their dream with horses. For some that is to ride bareback and bridle-less. For others it is to ride the piaffe. Maybe to have your horse run to you when you call his name or to have a safe ride out with friends. Whatever it may be, impossibly large or very simple, it is important to me that you have the tools to be able to achieve it. Horsemanship is a journey and a dream, living that possibility and enjoying the process to get there. I don't care what it is you want to do, I just care that you can get there!!
