I have never seen anything so complete, and Bob did such a great job explaining in every-day terms. One of the things that struck me the most was Bob’s way of imprinting. As a trainer, I have had some traumatized and now dangerous horses that went through improper imprinting (terror) so I’ve struggled with the imprinting concept. After watching Bob imprint so gently and lovingly, he should call it "Claymier’s Imprint Method." And it worked so beautifully!!! I know some breeders who won’t imprint at all and others who do it two weeks after the foal is born, terrorizing and torturing the little horse. Bob is right on – a perfect balance. After watching the DVD series I have a deeper respect for Bob and his commitment to all the parties involved from the stallion to the foal and all the professionals in between. Oh and I was especially impressed that the farrier was there within a few days of the foal's birth, that was great!
